The pinnacle of Molten Speed Wax for all fans of waxed chains for Day X.
If you want it to run really smoothly and with little friction, then this powder on a waxed, broken-in chain is definitely something for you. Extremely fine MoS2 (molybdenum sulfide) and WS2 (tungsten disulfide = tungsten disulfide) ensure an unprecedented chain feeling. Both are dry technical lubricants and are also contained in the actual Molten Speed Wax as additives.
Unlike PTFE, the powder here is black, but it also sticks everywhere. So it's best to apply the race powder outside and pay attention to the wind direction and be careful not to inhale it. Hold the can under the chain and dab carefully with a brush (there is a nice one here ) from above onto the chain and slowly turn backwards. This is how you catch excess powder. It is best to do this with skewing so that the powder gets into the free spaces everywhere. To do this, shift the chain as extreme as you can in the race (exactly, because of the friction). You can find out exactly what it all looks like here in my blog .
A really detailed manual from the manufacturer can be found here .
And the ultimate base, the Molten Speed Wax can be found here .
Made in USA and PTFE free.
Comes in a 63 gram can, the 100 gram price is 71.43 euros. That's roughly enough for tuning 20 chains and up.
