Probably the best-selling 11-speed chain of all time, Shimano's workhorse HG 701.
This chain comes with 116 links and belongs to the Ultegra and XT groups at Shimano. Except for my Prio A competitions, where I usually ride a DURA-ACE version, I use this chain all year round on all bikes, even off-road and also with other 11-speed gears from SRAM. Of course it also fits the higher and lower groups of the Japanese with eleven sprockets
This chain is completely degreased using benzine, ultrasound and ethanol and then waxed.
Depending on the version, you can close this chain once with the included rivet pin or Shimano's chain lock SM-CN-900-11. Or (better!) you order the reusable lock from YBN separately. This also turns the cheaper version with a pin into a model that is easy to put on and take off.
Optionally or later, you might take the gold standard as a DURA-ACE or SRAM Red version. Or at best you grow yourself.
