Dry Fluids high-performance lubricant Glide Power XT is for all bearings on the bike where smooth running and durability are important. For me, that means bottom brackets, derailleur pulleys and hub bearings, which I tune with this alcohol-based lubricant. Instead of oil or grease, this works with solid lubricants and additives that are applied to the moving parts and running surfaces, whereby the alcohol as a carrier then largely disappears. But it never gets completely dry. Other advantages: very little or, depending on the seal, no dirt binding at all. Glide Power XT is pressure-resistant, waterproof, extremely economical to use and "Made in Germany". You do have to always close the bottle tightly, though!
For dry conditions and the Priority A race, this works well on the chain and runs slightly better than the Dry Fluid Bike. However, it's no good in the rain.
Comes in 25 ml with a nozzle for precise application. That corresponds to €78.40 for 100 ml.
You can find out more about my history with Dry Fluid here in the blog and here is their product of choice when you want to use something liquid on the chain that is not called oil.
