Finally back in stock, the soft gel flask for on the go from GU, the Softflask. Manufactured by the market leader for such products, Hydrapak. The 150 milliliters capacity is enough for four to five gels with about 30 grams content. This avoids packaging waste on the go and is easier to use on the bike or while running than single-use packets. Of course, you can also transport other concentrates or homemade energy solutions like maltodextrin and water with it. My tip: Dissolve gels with hot water, then they come out of the bottle and into you even better, and you don't have to rinse with water afterward.

It also comes with a practical twist cap. You can open and drink from it with one hand while cycling or running. Sticky fingers and gel residues on the handlebar tape or in your jersey are also eliminated. Apart from the fact that classic gel packets often tear the corners of your mouth and it feels like half the gel stays inside, a refillable flask like this is simply practical. The Flask is a great helper for marathon, triathlon, trail running, and on the bike.
