Thanks to an elaborate multi-stage forming process, the 52ASA adopts exactly what made the ASC so successful: a shape that fits snugly to the forearm – only much more affordably.

The basic principle of the ASC and ASA series remains the same: The extensions are offset laterally so that they adapt cleanly to the natural arm position, while the clamping area of ​​22.2 mm still fits all common aerobars.

With the 52ASA, Profile Design sets a new benchmark in the area of ​​"Best Value Shaped Extension" – performance form at a fair price.

Extensions are primarily intended to do one thing: enable a relaxed hand and arm position. Only in this way can you ride aerodynamically and energy-efficiently in the long term.
That's why the ASA series is available in different lengths and with practical angles – so that every rider can find their optimal position.

Fit

The current trend in aerobar fitting is towards higher hand positions. Therefore, the rise has been increased compared to the previous generation.
Profile Design has focused on the most popular angles and added the 26A angle as a versatile multi-position option. Especially when searching for the optimal position, aluminum extensions are preferable to carbon fiber ones because they are more forgiving of frequent repositioning in the brackets. The minimal extra weight is offset by the significantly lower price.
