When adjusting the cockpit, every little detail counts. A few millimeters and degrees can help and work wonders in terms of comfort, pressure distribution and aerodynamics. These angles from Profile Design are a huge help. They allow you to adjust the armrests independently of the rest of the cockpit, with either a 10 or 15 degree incline. This means that in the "high hand position", i.e. when you place your hands in front of your head, the elbow rests fully on the cockpit instead of just partially. And if you need more leverage to grab onto the cockpit, similar to my grappling hooks. Another advantage of these little aluminum helpers: instead of spacers, they allow you to raise the arm pads, for example if they have to fit into the UCI window depending on the rider's size.
Anyone who rides older cockpit solutions, such as the Scott Plasma 5, also benefits from these angles. A few years ago, the idea was to ride everything horizontally and the option of adjusting or "tilting" the extension and pad was not planned. This solution now helps with the pad.
The attachment is made with two screws provided in the base handlebar, then the arm pads are attached from above. The screws for this come from the arm pads and must be M6.
Another advantage over many parts from small forges, primarily from the UK: These angles do not cost a fortune.
The key data: 10 or 15 degree incline. 12.5 millimeters of lateral adjustability, the length can be adjusted to hole spacings of 13 to 26 millimeters using the M5 screws provided.
Attention: These angles are NOT compatible with Profile Designs' own handlebars, but are intended for retrofitting to third-party brands! If you are not sure whether these parts will fit you, send me a picture of your current setup to service@derbaranski.de .
The delivery includes four M 5x15 screws and you buy a pair, one for the left, one for the right and either in 10 or 15 degrees!

In addition to the 43 ASC extensions, other tuning parts for your aero cockpit are my own grappling hooks as well as the computer holder from 76projects and of course the matching Ergo+ pads from Profile Design.
